Qld: Man charged with raping 61-y-o on Gold Coast

A Queensland man's been remanded in custody over the rape of a 61-year-old woman on
the Gold Coast.

The man .. who can't be named under Queensland law .. appeared in Brisbane Magistrate's
Court today charged with rape .. assaulting a person over 60 .. and administering a stupefying
drug with intent to commit an offence.

Police allege the victim was attacked at her Palm Beach home on Wednesday.

Magistrate NOEL MUNAN has remanded the man to appear in Southport Magistrate's Court
on April 14 for mention.
