Fed: Greiner slams World Cup bid
Soccer Australia President NICK GREINER has reportedly slammed Australia's bid to hostthe 2014 World Cup.
In a scathing attack on Soccer's status in Australia, Mr GREINER says the game's managementis dysfunctional and the country is not ready to host the cup.
Mr GREINER has told The Australian the reality is that soccer has to fix its dysfunctionalgovernance structure, adding that the national team and league also need an overhaul.
He says the truth is, until you get your own house in order you run a serious riskof looking a bit like a goose.
Soccer Australia and the NSW and Victorian governments today officially announced theirintention to bid for the event, the biggest single sporting event in the world.
