Oceana Club 'relieved' at news it is to stay at V&A.(News)

"RELIEVED" that the Oceana Boat Club would continue operating, its commodore Colin Wolfsohn says the news is a "giant leap" for the club, despite the fact that he is still waiting to be officially informed.

This comes after Premier Ebrahim Rasool's announcement in media reports at the weekend. He was quoted as saying that after meeting with the new owners of the V&A Waterfront, they had indicated that they wanted the club to stay.

Rasool reportedly said that after explaining the problem to them, they were keen to keep the club active.
