TAS: Two in hospital after overnight shooting
HOBART, Feb 12 AAP - Two people are in hospital with gunshot wounds following a shootingin Tasmania's north-west.
Police said a woman received a wound to the shoulder in a shooting incident about 1am(AEDT) today at Devonport.
An armed man was then pursued by police through suburban Devonport early this morning.
It is believed he shot himself in the head before being apprehended and taken to hospital.
The woman is expected to be released from hospital later this morning.
No further details were immediately available.
Devonport police are expected to issue a statement about 11am (AEDT).
