Vic: Man held over Christmas shooting

A man is dead and another is in custody after a shooting at Mildura in Victoria's north.

Homicide detectives are heading to the rural town after neighbours reported a shooting
at a property this evening.

The Rural Ambulance says officers called to the scene found a man in his 50s dead in a shed.

Police say a man in his 30s is being held in custody and is helping them with their inquiries.
